Walk-ins with no prior appointment may be subject to extended wait times

My pet is scheduled for surgery. What time do I drop-off and pick up?

Drop-off time for surgical procedures is between 9:00 and 9:30 am. This ensures that we have plenty of time during the day to perform your pet's surgery, and that they will be fully recovered from anesthesia before going home. Pick up times vary depending on the surgery. Most procedures allow the pet to go home that afternoon, but some require an overnight stay. Once your pet's surgery is complete, we will give you a call letting you know they are ready to be picked up

Are there special restrictions for my pet before surgery?

If your pet is being dropped off for a surgical procedure, we require that they be fasted for 8-12 hours prior to surgery. This means absolutely no food or water the morning of surgery. Feeding pets before surgery may seem compassionate, but it can cause very serious health complications while under anesthesia including choking, aspiration pneumonia, or even death

At what age can I have my pet spayed or neutered?

It is recommended that spaying and neutering be performed at approximately 6 months of age. Older pets have more complications during surgery and there are more health conditions linked to older unaltered animals. Many of these health conditions can be prevented by early spaying and neutering
